Everything was good, so were amazing views on the mountains. Room was large and absolutely fantastic with complimentary Wi-Fi and coffee. Location: the hotel was just next door to Nikko, and train station & Edo wonderland. It also was on transport to varies sightseeing locations. The service was good and the food was outstanding...

This hotel was located next to a beautiful river and offered great views. It was conveniently located near the bus stop and away from the busy cities we had been visiting. the room was nicely decorated in a traditional Japanese style and the staff was friendly and helpful. They even had a delicious buffet breakfast and clean, comfortable bathrooms.
The onsen could be crowded at times.

I was pleasantly surprised by the unique experience at this hotel. The hot group baths and tatami mat floors added a touch of authenticity to my stay. The buffet meals were diverse and delicious, offering something for everyone. The five hot baths, especially the outdoor one with the rocks, provided a relaxing retreat. The hotel's location also made it convenient for visiting Edo Wonderland. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

Beautiful river views and buffet meals were the best aspects of this ryokan style hotel during my xmas stay. The traditional Japanese onsen was a nice touch, too. The hotel is located in a small town with not much to do around there, but it's perfect for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. You can also choose to have a private onsen with an additional charge, which is perfect if you prefer more privacy.
The room condition was a bit outdated and not what I expected for the high price. The WiFi only worked at the lobby, which was inconvenient.

It provided a serene and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They spoke English well and helped us with all our needs. The hotel facilities were excellent, with large onsen baths and many activities for families. We also enjoyed the beautiful view of the gorge from our room. The buffet dinner was exceptional, featuring a wide variety of dishes that catered to both eastern and western tastes.
Nothing it was perfect.

The setting of the hotel was absolutely beautiful! Surrounded by mountains and a river, I really enjoyed admiring the scenery. the staff was hospitable and welcoming, which was a nice touch. the food was diverse, and there was a lot to choose from.
The location of the hotel was disappointing, far from the places I wanted to visit. the room felt a bit outdated, and some facilities were worn out.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
